Community 1st Sheffield, where Equity Solutions is the private sector LIFT partner, has a lease agreement in place with NHS Sheffield PCT for their single site central headquarters office.
The agreement demonstrates the flexible approach of Community 1st to deliver bespoke solutions and lease arrangements to support our partners’ requirements.
Plans for a single site HQ were a top priority for the Primary Care Trust once the reorganisation and restructuring from four PCTs to one had been completed.
The move signalled the launch of the new identity of the commissioning side of the PCT as NHS Sheffield ‘the City’s guardian of NHS spending and advocate for better health’ and has assisted the new PCT in fulfilling its plans to consolidate all the PCT commissioning staff to operate from a single site.
The headquarters building is not a new build development and has been re-fitted by Community 1st Sheffield to create a new modern working environment for Trust staff.
The re-fit of the accommodation was completed over two phases which allowed the phased relocation of 300 staff into their new base. Both phases were completed in early June 2008.
Located in the regeneration area of Darnall, Building 722 on Prince of Wales Road is part of the refurbishment and regeneration of the old steel works offices. The location of the PCT headquarters in this area of Sheffield will help contribute to the overall regeneration of the area.
