Equity Solutions Key Environmental Objectives

As part of our work towards attaining ISO 14001 accreditation, we have drawn up a document outlining the key environmental objectives of Equity Solutions: Environmental Policy Equity Solutions and Partners and Blue Sky Design Services Ltd. are committed to delivering high quality services to all our clients and partners. We take our responsibility to manage our businesses in an environmentally responsible manner very seriously and have demonstrated this commitment by developing an Environmental Management System according to the ISO14001 standard. Our principal services include asset-backed investment, property management, architectural services, healthcare planning, environmental sustainability consultancy, mechanical and electrical system design. Our environmental review has confirmed that our main areas of impact on the environment are through the consumption of natural resources, fuel and energy in our operations, the disposal of waste and the use of transport to deliver our services across the UK. Our policy is therefore to measure, manage and monitor these significant impacts and to seek to continuously improve performance through our Environmental Management System, using key objectives and quantified targets as the key metrics. Across all business units and all areas of activity, Equity Solutions and Partners Ltd shall conduct their activities in an environmentally responsible manner, seeking to balance the environmental, social and economic aspects of our activities in pursuit of genuine sustainability. Our principal objectives in this regard are to: • Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations • Seek to continually reduce the environmental impacts associated with our activities where possible by implementing our philosophy of continuous improvement, setting challenging but achievable targets for our key environmental indicators, and reporting annually on performance and progress • Operate and maintain an effective Environmental management System to ISO14001 requirements • Communicate and consult with staff to ensure they are aware of our collective environmental responsibilities and empowered to deliver improvements through their job functions • Consume energy as efficiently as possible, actively identifying and reducing unnecessary consumption and investing in new and innovative low and zero carbon technologies • Actively pursue measures to reduce the extent and impact of our business and staff travel • Reduce the consumption of natural resources associated with our activities by procuring environmentally sustainable materials where possible • Minimise waste arisings in our operations by monitoring and assessing our activities and ensuring they are as efficient as possible. Where waste is produced we will seek to reuse and recycle materials wherever possible • Assist all of our partners in identifying and delivering improvements in their own key environmental objectives.
